The language center of the University of Paris 8 is looking for a temporary teacher for the first semester of the year 2025-2026 to teach English for beginners (level A1).

The hours are paid at the usual hourly rate of €43.50. Time slots may be set, as far as possible, according to the availability of candidates from Monday to Friday (9 am-12 pm, 12-3 pm, 3-6 pm or 6-9 pm)

To be able to apply, you must :
– be enrolled in a doctorate and not exceed a total teaching time of 96 hours per year.
– must have a main professional activity (paid work of at least 900 hours per year or 300 hours in the case of teaching)
– Be able to provide proof of self-employment provided they are subject to the territorial economic contribution or that they have derived regular means of subsistence from the practice of their profession for at least three years (an annual SMIC over the last 3 years)
